Roseville is home to both a Sutter and Kaiser hospital, along with numerous other small medical offices. Roseville is also home to a major railroad switching yard ran by Union Pacific and facilities for both Hewlett Packard and NEC.

Roseville is a shopping destination for the region with the Galleria Mall, the Roseville Automall and the recently built Fountains. These shopping destinations, coupled with great restaurants, schools and parks have made Roseville one of the most popular places in Placer County to own a home.
